This is how close God is from us.

Hold Fast
I continue to read this fabulous book called “On Eagles Wings”. Today’s topic was Holding to God’s promises.
What the book explained based on Heb 10:23 “Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering: (for he who promised is faithful). Then it goes on explaining how an Eagle holds it’s pray.
Eagles are God’s favorite animal, that’s why he likens us with them so much. Eagles have a special looking mechanism on the tendon, which consist of a Friction Pad and Corrugations (see image) that makes the claw lock in and not let go. Eagles hold so thigh to their pray that sometimes, the just cut through them directly. But where I’m going here is that the Eagles are sometimes found dead on the side of rivers, with the fish on their claws. The fish was so big that they couldn’t carry it or the fish was so strong drowned the eagle.
The bird would rather die than release it’s hold, that’s what “holding fast” means, and that’s how bad God whats us to hold to his promises. So no matter how ugly the situation looks, so HOLD FAST, don’t stop believing, God never let down those who love him and trust him.

I’m reading a book called “On Eagles Wings” where the author explains why God likens us with the eagles so much. Today the topic was Patience.
Patience is : Cheerful endurance
- something we’re not taught, we simply have to learn the hard way…being anxious about getting everything we want now. Well…God and his universe were designed to learn patience. On his word He explains how an Eagle being so fast and powerful sometimes wait for couple of hours above a rabbit hole to eat….. “having done all, stand” - it doesn’t say throw away your hope or desperate… - it says to Stand.
Our world teaches us to become an overnight success, eat fast food, microwave it all. I’m 28 yrs old and consider my self having a part of me in the “old-school” way of doing things and another in the new-fast world we live now. I can stand, I’m here for the long run.
Now how do you have a standing power? with faith…usually faith and patience are always found together. One without the other is useless. Hebrews 10:35-36 tell us to Stand and Never give up.
I agree.
